The Stormweaver Stormcloud build is one of the most comfortable ways to level a Stormweaver in Hero Siege Season 10. Stormcloud and Stormbolt remain strong through the early and mid game, while the build can later transition into a more specialized endgame setup.
If you want a character that clears packs quickly without needing perfect gear from the beginning, this is one of the better Stormweaver routes to follow.
Level 1–39: Start With Charge Bolt
Do not rush into Stormcloud at level one.
For early leveling, Charge Bolt is the easiest starting skill. It provides reliable area coverage and becomes noticeably stronger as you gain additional projectiles. The current Season 10 build recommends using Charge Bolt during the early levels before transitioning into Stormcloud at Level 40.
Pick up Pulsing Charge early and use your available points to strengthen the lightning setup around Charge Bolt.
You should also take High Voltage when available. The goal during this stage is simple: clear the campaign quickly without spending time searching for perfect equipment.
Level 40: Switch to Stormcloud
Level 40 is the major breakpoint.
Once Stormcloud becomes available, reset your skills if necessary and begin building around Stormcloud and Stormbolt.
Stormcloud gives you excellent area damage, while Stormbolt provides additional lightning pressure. The combination is particularly effective for clearing groups and moving through campaign zones quickly.
You should also keep Gateway available for mobility. Stormweaver remains highly mobile, although Season 10’s teleport changes mean you should not rely on teleport charges as heavily as previous-season builds did.
Attribute Points
The basic Stormcloud setup is straightforward.
Prioritize Intelligence for damage and add Vitality for survivability. One current S10 Stormcloud endgame setup uses approximately 200 Intelligence and 200 Vitality, although your exact distribution can change depending on gear and how comfortable you are surviving difficult content.
If you are dying frequently, do not sacrifice survivability just to chase slightly higher damage.
Level 40–100 Gear Priorities
During leveling, do not worry about completing the final Satanic setup.
Instead, prioritize:
- +All Skills
- +Magic Skills
- +Lightning Skills
- Skill Haste
- Faster Cast Rate
- Lightning Skill Damage
- Life
These stats scale naturally with the Stormcloud setup and remain useful as you upgrade your equipment.
Runewords can also be useful as temporary upgrades while you work toward stronger gear. The important thing is to keep progressing rather than waiting for one specific item to drop.
Level 100: Build for Farming
Once you reach Level 100, Stormcloud becomes particularly attractive for early farming.
The current S10 build recommends a Stormcloud + Stormbolt farming setup for early Level 100 content. It provides strong area clear with relatively modest gear requirements.
For bosses with large health pools, a more single-target-focused Stormcloud setup can be used instead. This is one of the biggest advantages of the build: you can adjust your skill setup depending on what content you are running.
Endgame Gear and Gems
As you move toward high-end gear, continue stacking skill levels and lightning scaling.
The recommended gem priorities include Flawless Topaz for lightning damage and Chaos Gems for Intelligence and Magic Skill Damage.
For late-game equipment, look for strong Satanics with useful skill bonuses rather than replacing items simply because they have higher item levels.
Your long-term targets should include high rolls on All Skills, Lightning Skills, Skill Haste, Faster Cast Rate, Lightning Damage, and Life.
When Should You Leave Stormcloud?
You do not have to.
Stormcloud remains completely viable into high-level content when properly geared. However, experienced players can eventually experiment with Lightning Surge, which has higher scaling potential with optimized endgame equipment. Current S10 testing specifically notes that Stormcloud and Stormbolt remain strong, while Lightning Surge offers another late-game direction.
That means Stormcloud is best viewed as both a leveling build and a strong bridge into endgame.
The simplest Season 10 route is:
- Level 1–39: Charge Bolt
- Level 40: Transition to Stormcloud
- Level 40–100: Stormcloud + Stormbolt
- Level 100+: Stormcloud farming setup
- High Endgame: Optimize Stormcloud or transition toward Lightning Surge
The key is not to overfarm early. Build enough power to keep progressing, upgrade when your damage or survivability starts falling behind, and save your strongest resources for meaningful upgrades.
A clean farming setup can also help you accumulate Hero Siege Gold naturally while you work toward your endgame gear.
